Communication package
‘You don't have to do demolition work alone’

More and more patients are wondering whether and how they can stop taking antidepressants. As a pharmacist, you play an important role in carefully guiding this process. The communication package “You don't have to taper off alone” supports pharmacies in discussing tapering off in an accessible and patient-oriented way.

This communication package is part of Fagron's medication reduction concept and has been developed to raise awareness among patients about the possibility of reducing antidepressants under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

What is the communication package?
The package consists of practical communication materials for use in the waiting room of the pharmacy (and possibly the GP practice).

Contents of the package

The communication package contains:

  • 1 A1 poster
  • 1 A2 poster (same design as A1 poster)
  • 20 appointment cards

The posters can be displayed in the waiting room to gently draw attention to the topic of tapering.

The appointment cards can be placed on the counter and offer patients the opportunity to schedule an appointment with the pharmacist or GP, so that the conversation about tapering off can take place carefully and under supervision.

Refill of the appointment cards

The refill contains:

  • 20 appointment cards

When the stock of appointment cards is running low, they can easily be reordered to ensure they remain available at the counter.

Practical & free of charge
