Contribution towards the training costs for the Building Finishing Consultant course

The recently updated NHG Standard on Anxiety once again emphasises the importance of careful evaluation of medication use and – where appropriate – the responsible tapering of antidepressants. As a pharmacist, you play a key role in carefully guiding this process. In practice, this requires up-to-date knowledge and structured support for patients.

At Fagron, we offer various support materials such as the online toolkit, tapering schedules and the communication pack to provide safe, step-by-step professional guidance to the patient.

To support healthcare professionals, a (partial) subsidy of €499 is available for the training course to become a Tapering Consultant. This will deepen your knowledge and teach you how to safely guide patients through the process of tapering off medication.

Finishing Consultant Training Course

The Medication Tapering Consultant training course, developed by medication tapering consultant Tessa de Vos, is aimed at healthcare professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills regarding the safe and responsible tapering of medication. The course covers topics including pharmacological principles, patient counselling and multidisciplinary collaboration.

A training cost subsidy of €499 is currently available for this course, reducing the registration fee to €1,549/€1,449 excluding VAT.

Who is it for?
The accredited course is intended for pharmacy assistants and pharmaceutical consultants and yields 65 accreditation points. Participation is exclusively available to contracted Fagron customers. Registration is personal and non-transferable. One subsidy is available per pharmacy.
