Reimbursement of Pharmacy Preparations 2026

We would like to inform you that health insurers have announced which (transferred) pharmacy preparations and raw materials will be subject to a different reimbursement status as of 1 January 2026. The official news release from Zorgverzekeraars Nederland can be read here.

As of 1 January 2026, several raw materials and preparations will no longer be reimbursed automatically. This includes zinc oxide as a raw material and, consequently, several transferred pharmacy preparations that contain zinc oxide. In addition, new reimbursement eligibility conditions will apply to certain pharmacy preparations containing quetiapine. We recommend reviewing the original document from Zorgverzekeraars Nederland for further details.
