Via onze partners leveren wij voorgevulde elastomeerpompen en medicatiecassettes voor gebruik in zowel het ziekenhuis als in de thuissituatie. Indien u niet uitkomt met geregistreerde geneesmiddelen, kunt u bij ons terecht voor specifieke doseringen in bijvoorbeeld een elastomeerpomp of medicatiecassette. Hierbij is er keuzevrijheid in merk en type.

In de hightech productiefaciliteit van Fagron Steriele bereidingsapotheek (FSBA) produceren we o.a. medicatiecassettes die direct uit voorraad leverbaar zijn. Hierdoor is geen recept nodig en wordt elke geproduceerde batch grondig geanalyseerd voor kwaliteit en veiligheid.

Na een operatie of tijdens een bevalling kan er gekozen worden voor epidurale pijnbestrijding. Epidurale pijnbestrijing met behulp van een medicatiecassette heeft verschillende voordelen voor de patiënt, het zorgpersoneel en de ziekenhuisapotheek.

  • Lokaal anestheticum i.c.m. sterkwerkend opioïd, keuze uit verschillende presentaties
  • Mogelijkheid voor PCA (Patient Controlled Analgesia); daling van pijnscore ¹ ²

Through our partners we supply pre-filled elastomer pumps and medication cassettes for use in both the hospital and home setting. If you cannot manage with registered medications, you can contact us for specific dosages in for example an elastomer pump or medication cassette. Here there is freedom of choice in brand and type.

Infusion therapy (at home) with an elastomer pump offers many advantages:

  • No mains power is required
  • Medication is administered via a preset run-in rate
  • Less dependence on home care, self-care is also possible

In the high-tech production facility of Fagron Sterile Preparation Pharmacy (FSBA), we produce, among other things, medication cassettes that are available directly from stock. This eliminates the need for a prescription and each batch produced is thoroughly analyzed for quality and safety.
