Last year, Apotheek Reigerhof started the Fagron Derma Zorg project, and with success. ‘Derma Zorg is alive and well within the pharmacy. Especially now that we are achieving such good results with it. Half of our skin patients who come to pick up a corticosteroid cream now receive an indifferent cream to take home’, says Michelle van Bogerijen, pharmacist. Something they are proud of, because improving patient compliance is important within the pharmacy.

‘After the refresher training provided by Fagron, I spoke to the doctors involved. This collaboration is important. When doctors prescribe a corticosteroid for the skin, an indifferent cream is now included on the prescription as standard. We pay extra attention to this with repeat prescriptions’. ‘The positive reactions from customers give colleagues at the counter a huge drive to provide skin advice and to Fagron to continue working with Derma Zorg’.
